Adam Husney, MD, has spent his career helping people make better health decisions. Trained as a family physician, he practiced clinically for more than 30 years, grounding his work in the real needs, questions, and challenges patients face when navigating their health.

Dr. Husney combined his clinical experience with a deep commitment to patient‑centered education through his long tenure at Healthwise, where he helped shape trusted, evidence‑based health information used by millions. He served as Chief Medical Officer and later CEO of Healthwise for six years, guiding the organization through major strategic and product evolution before its assets were acquired by WebMD.

Today, Dr. Husney is the Chairman of the Board of Eyes on Health, continuing the same mission that has defined his career: empowering people to make better health decisions. His work focuses on strengthening health information ecosystems at a time marked by division, declining trust, AI disruption, and overwhelming information flow. Through Eyes on Health, he is advancing efforts to ensure that people, communities, and health systems have access to reliable, understandable, and actionable health information.
