Veronica Short is a digital health product executive focused on reimagining how people find, understand, and navigate healthcare—and how trusted health information and clinical intelligence are delivered across that journey. As Vice President of Product – Clinical at WebMD Ignite, she leads product strategy across clinical workflow, patient education and engagement, digital care navigation, and emerging AI experiences. 

Her work sits at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and user experience, with a particular focus on reducing friction across the patient journey—from understanding a health need and finding the right care to navigating health system experiences and taking the next best action. She also leads work to embed trusted intelligence directly into clinical and patient workflows, spanning conversational and agentic AI, EHR-integrated experiences, interoperability, and next-generation patient engagement. 

Veronica has spent her career building and scaling digital health and clinical decision-support products, including leadership roles at WebMD, International SOS, and Elsevier. She is particularly interested in how AI can make healthcare easier to navigate while creating more intuitive, personalized, and connected experiences for patients and clinicians
